I bought this Cadillac for my mother 85 yr. old, in 2010 from friend in West Palm Bch. Florida. He told me his mother, also an elderly lady, bought this car new in Illinois and moved to Florida many years ago with the Cadillac. When I bought it. the Cadillac it had 87410 original miles and was garage kept. His mother kept all the receipts for service oil changes and minor repairs. The Cadillac now has 104000 miles on it and runs great. The 4.9 motor has plenty of power. The transmission shift good with no issues. In April 2010, I put new 4 Michelin tires on it, undercoated the chassis, tuned it up, and drove it up to Massachusetts for my mother. She drove the Cadillac for 3 years with no problems. She has since bought a newer vehicle and does not need the Cadillac anymore. Cadillac Specs: Power Front wheel drive. The Sedan version of the Sedan DeVille has a 4.9-liter V-8 engine that produces 200 horsepower. A four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is also standard. Its torque is 275 foot-pounds, and its compression ratio is 9.0 to 1. The bore and stroke are 4.00 millimeters and 3.00 millimeters, respectively, and its displacement is 4,949 cubic centimeters.

Fuel The DeVille Sedan has an 18-gallon tank and runs on unleaded fuel. In the city, the DeVille Sedan gets 16 miles per gallon (mpg); on the highway, the Sedan gets 25 mpg.

Safety and Extras. Power door locks and air conditioning come standard in the DeVille Sedan. Anti-lock brakes and an airbag for the driver are also included. Power windows cruise control and tilt steering also come installed. The dash features a cassette tape player. Overall Condition: Excellent daily driver, not perfect. Radio quit a couple of months ago, not sure if it’s the radio or rear antenna. Paint is not perfect with normal wear. The Phaeton simulated conv. roof stitching still looks good, but some of the stitching is getting old. There are no leaks. This is a nice daily driver that will need some minor repairs. The eight way power seats & power mirror work fine. The battery was 4 yrs old, so I just installed a new battery last week. There were only 3,952 Cadillac's built with the Phaeton simulated convertible roof. This would make a great second car for a large family. Where else would can you buy a reliable luxury Cadillic for less than $3000 , this is a great deal for someone.
