1965 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S 4 speed with manual steering, manual brakes. Installed in car is a 360 magnum crate motor 380 H.P. and 4 speed with alum. bell housing, 14 inch rallye's, drum brakes, 8-3/4 rear with 3.23 Sure-Grip. New when painted 5 years ago: windshield and seal, back window seal, back window chrome strip(5pc set with Valiant emblem), carpet, hood emblems,etc, etc. Car is very straight, never wrecked. Has Spitfire headers and custom 2-1/2 dual exhaust, Mopar MSD, Demon 850 carb, etc, etc. The car is never in rain or snow, but is driven often in nice weather. Have won several trophies at shows, but it is more of a very nice driver than pure show car. Car has been in family for over 30 years. Please email questions. Original motor( 273 4bbl with adjustable rockers, original bore ) and trans can be purchased at additional cost. Original motor and trans pulled 5 years ago. Ran, but needs rebuilt. On Jul-27-13 at 12:13:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Several questions have been asked about the Barracuda. It is an original Formula S. No air conditioning. Motor has less than 5000 miles on it. Original radiator completely redone 1 year ago. Never gets hot, runs at most 185 at idle, in town, and at 70 MPH. New starter 1 year ago. New heater core 1 year ago. Has original front and rear sway bars. Original tach in the dash. I personally would not be afraid to drive it on a 500 mile trip. However, I would recommend the front end (ball joints, tie rod ends, etc), be replaced. Also, new seat belts front and back 5 years ago.
