Vehicle Detail

1971 Chevrolet C-20 Custom Deluxe Factory Numbers Matching 402, 310HP Big Block, TH400 Auto Factory A/C, Tach, PS, PB Up for auction this very nice 1971 Chevy C-20. It is mostly original and in great shape. It runs and drives great, rides very nice for a 3/4 ton pickup. It has 51,000 miles on the odometer, title says actual mileage but there is no other paperwork to verify that. I tried to get the best pictures I could to let you judge the condition for yourself. It has been repainted one time in 1988. The body is very straight with minimal rust. The tailgate has a few small dings, it looks like the driver side rear wheel well had a dent and was repaired when repainted, part of the filler has been knocked out. As far as rust goes there is some on the pass. front fender and radiator support under the battery, the pass. side lower rear corner of the door and cab corner have some rust showing up, There is a small spot by the filler neck on the cab, the worst rust is inside of the bed in front of the wheel wells, there are holes all the way across the floor in about an 8" wide section, there is also a small spot in each rear corner of the bed floor, The front cab supports have some rust, the rear cab supports have some rust starting but it is not as bad as the front ones. The rocker panels and above the widsheild inside the cab look great no rust. As far as drivetrain goes it runs and drives dowm the road great. It does not have any leaks that will leave a spot in your driveway. The 402 BBC runs great with plenty of power for towing or playing, does not smoke or use excessive amounts of oil- might use a quart between oil changes. It has a new carb, new aluminum radiator, and just had tuneup. It has a little over 30 psi oil pressure at idle warmed up and 45-55 psi driving down the road. The TH400 shifts good and solid and fluid is clean and does not smell burnt. The steering and front end is all tight and in good shape. It has leaf spring rear suspension that is in good shape- no broken leafs. It has new brakes all the way around. The rear tires are about 50% and the fronts are about 90%. This truck had two auxilary fuel tanks, but the tanks are no longer in the truck. The A/C looks is all intact, but it does not currently have a charge in it. The compressor is not locked up. At the very least it will need a belt and to be charged. The heater works good. This truck is is in really great shape for a 1971 and is ready to go wherever you want to take it. This truck is being sold as is where is with no warranty. Has clean and clear Kansas title. Will accept cash only. Will not ship this vehicle, you can come pick it up in person, or I could possibly deliver for $1.00 a mile one way. This vehicle is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this listing at any time. Please contact me with any questions you might have or if you would like to come see it in person. Feel free to make an offer the worst I could say is no. Thanks for looking.
