This is a one of a kind vehicle in near factory new condition. Special ordered for the US Border Patrol, this 3/4 ton 1993 Chevy Van G20 was used as a border crossing portable baggage scanner and hardly ever moved, it accrued very few miles. I purchased it with the intention of creating a perfect tailgate wagon with an open interior that could be driven anywhere. Over $5700 was spent at a high-end independent shop replacing all worn parts and perfecting this Van. All wear items were replaced on the engine, undercarriage, and suspension with a new exhaust and ball-joints. The interior was completely refinished with carpeting, a new stereo system, and a new tilt and cruise steering column. A custom built roof rack was constructed with spotlights front and rear and a full-size spare wheel. It has a 30amp RV jack input, accessory roof mounted air conditioning unit, and an accessory propane tank. I put 3,300 miles on the van driving it across the country where it proved flawless and reliable. With this van completed, tested, and proven I am moving on to new projects.
