Originally, the car was from California and was bought from a dealer in Chicago. I purchased the car five years ago from the dealer in Chicago who had it on their showroom floor. The car has never seen a drop of rain or a flake of snow. The car stays with a cover on it when not being driven and stays in my garage throughout the winter months. Both the interior and exterior of the car look outstanding and always get multiple looks when on the road. There was approximately 800 Saleens made during 1989 and even fewer were convertibles, yet black convertibles. Car #440 The only issues I know of are the AC not working. Also, something slowly drains the battery so I put a kill switch on. the battery because something drains the battery. I believe it might be the after market stereo system or the security system. The stereo system is an Alpine with a Kenwood amp.
