Up for sale is a 1973 Saab sonett III that i bought a few years back.After keeping it indoors and buying a lot of parts for it,i realize that the dreamed of restoration is not going to happen.Looking at a few of these i settled for the one with the least amount of rust.The floors are solid leve for a few pinholes.The fiberglass body is straight but has a few stresscracks in the usual places[hood prop and bumperbrace]All glass is good and scratchfree.I lost the rear quarter glasses,but it is a straight panel.The dash still has the original krinkle finish in place.I bought a new exhaust system andMetal louvers for the rear glass.Door panels are good,as is the original brown wool carpet,it has been professionally cleaned.The wood on the top of the doorpanels has been refinished.The steering wheel is leather wrapped.The engine conpartment looks clean and original.I tried to start it after but it seems the rings got stuck after sitting for a long tiume,probably should not have removed the original exhaust. Makes the old 'was running when parked' sound real lame,but it was running about 7 years ago.Currently have the pistons soaking and will post any changes.The interior has been removed to start prepping the floors.Every piece is there and accounted for,nothing is broken.For questions or inspections please call 214/707 9525 Keys and title aere here as is the original owners manual.5 good soccerball wheels with good michelin tires are installed,original jack is here.Tx retail buyers have to pay tt+l fees.
