Vehicle Detail

I have owned the car since 2011. The owner before me had the car for 11 years. I took the interior completely apart and put in new carpet and several new trim pieces. The interior is in very good shape with no rips or tears though the seats are a little faded, and the dash is in excellent shape. There is a 140 mph gauge cluster with white face gauges that goes with the car but its not installed. Everything works inside. SMOKE FREE. I also put new weather stripping on the whole car. The exterior is original except for the front. The previous owner was backed into in a parking lot and had to have the bumper, hood, and both quarter panels painted. The overall body condition is ok. There are a few dents and dings and scrapes around the car with some rust starting under the hatch which is typical of these cars. Other than that is is a solid car but could use a paint job. As far as the engine goes it is all stock unmolested. There are some new parts such as a 160 degree thermostat, water pump, timing cover, under drive pulleys and battery. There are also Flowmaster mufflers under the car that cut off and the rear axle. I also took the air conditioner off the car because pieces were already missing when I bought the car but I do have all the brackets and hardware if the buyer wants to put a new system on. No I do not have the compressor. The power steering was moved up to the proper position using the proper Ford brackets too. The engine does leak some oil from the back of the engine somewhere, it is not a lot though. The stock 5 speed does grind on occasion when putting it into reverse but since the clutch cable is stock it could need to be adjusted or replaced. Other than that the car runs and drives very well. I may have forgotten something so feel free to ask. Winning bidder must pay a non refundable $200 deposit through Pay Pal only. The rest of the payment is due at the time of pickup.
