Vehicle Detail
I am selling this Vintage Honda CB750F Super Sport for a friend of mine. This is a true documented Super Sport. The bike is a one owner that has an interesting story behind it. This bike is 100% original the only thing that's not are the tires as they have been recently replaced. The bike is in great condition and just needs a little spit and polish to bring it back to showroom condition. We just had the bike to the Honda shop in Richmond and had the carburetors cleaned and the oil changed along with both new tires, everything was gone over, this bike runs and rides like new it fires rite up and has plenty of power. There are no issues with this bike ride it home if you like. It has 5,218 original miles on it and has been kept in the basement for its entire life.the paint is perfect with only a few minor scratches here and there nothing that wouldn't buff out if you wanted to do that. This bike is absolutely unmolested it is 100% original except for the tires.the condition is amazing considering the age of the bike honestly all it needs is cleaned and polished and it would be in showroom condition,no restoration needed in my opinion.there is some slight surface rust on some of the chrome that will come out with a good polish. The bike is being sold without reserve so the highest bidder will own it. Included is the original bill of sale and the owners manual along with the original dealer check off sheet. I have and will include the sissy bar that was bought with the bike along with all the hardware for mounting, also there is a vintage highway bar that was purchased in 1977 along with all the hardware. The history on the bike is as follows! This bike was purchased on July 8th 1975 from a Honda dealer in Pique Ohio that's about 60 miles north of Dayton Ohio by James Smith. The bike was given to his son as a gift, in September of that same year his son was killed in an automobile accident. The bike was but into the basement and there it has sat for all these years. The dad would get it out occasionally and ride it then put it back in its spot. He just never could bring himself to sell the bike. Now that hes 78 years old and in poor health hes hoping that the bike goes to someone that will love and enjoy the bike.I have offered to list the bike and answer any questions about it.I have rode the bike myself and took it to the Honda shop and had it gone over it is in 100% operating condition. If you have any questions please contact me at 606-362-4746 and i will do my best to answer them Thank you for looking and happy bidding Regards Tim
