Vehicle Detail

This is a true classic and needs a full restoration. This vehicle was abandoned with unpaid charges so in the state on Missouri a Salvage title is issued. The exterior paint is not bad, but needs cleaned up. The trim panels on the inside are missing, front windshield is cracked and the top needs replaced. The car did run 5 years ago and does turn over but would need attention to run. Also the convertible top worked at that time but I have not tried it in the last several years. What you see is what you get so look carefully. I'm selling as "needing complete restoration". So please, bid to buy and assume the worse. I'll answer questions the best I can. This is a NO RESERVE auction !!! I have another old convertible for sale so check my other listing. On Jul-22-13 at 12:20:38 PDT, seller added the following information: This car IS a 1961 not a 1963. I verified with the highway patrol, the title and decoded the vin myself. Hope that helps. On Jul-23-13 at 07:41:54 PDT, seller added the following information: I was contacted by another ebay member who says he has trim panels and seats all original and nice that he would sale to buyer. I will pass that info on to buyer. On Jul-24-13 at 20:55:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Alright, I'll eat crow. I checked with the highway patrol, the title and decoded the vin...but I didn't check the vin ON the car. The highway patrol missed the first digit on inspection, so I imagine when they realized they were a digit short the figured all vin's start with a "1"... either way it is a 1963. If it turns out to be an issue with this auction I'll run a new auction. Sorry for the confusion, but I think most of you knew. This car did run when it was dropped off and I believe with little effort could run again. The only mechanical issue it had 7 yrs ago when the guy dropped it off was you had to stand on the brakes to get it to stop...power brake booster or something seemed to be the issue and was never fixed, but it seemed to drive ok. The guy that dropped it off flew some lincoln specialist (i believe from florida") out to my shop to get the windows and convertible top working, I saw the power top work :-) so it is complete, I have not tried the top for years and didn't want to today. The guy that worked on it left his info in the trunk with a sticker somewhere, he said he's well known and that way whoever went to work on the top could call with question. There is rust on the car, surface rust on frame, all the tires still have air in them, motor is NOT locked up and there is keys. I added more pictures
