The car you are bidding on is a 1979 Chevrolet corvette. I will give you the info I was told and then I tell you what I know about the car. I took this vette in on trade on a newer diesel truck from a young man that got it when his father passed. He told me that he and his father had went through the car about three years ago. His father got sick toward the end of the project and later passed. He kept the car for about a year after that, but he just wanted to move on, end of story. This is what I know for fact. The vette is nice, but it is not new, so don't expect a brand new car. The car is a 50k act. mile car, this is a numbers matching car and seems to be bone stock. The paint is a8.5 out of 10 in my opinion, not show, but super nice driver quality. The car is super straight and shows no kind of damage from any wreck that I can find. the under carrage is clean with NO signs of rust or leaks of any kind. The interior looks to be about 80 percent new. The door panels look to be oem and the drivers side does have two small tears ( see pics ). The dash is nice, but does have some cracking from age. Every thing on the car works except the radio, and the blower does not switch from floor to dash, more that likely a vac. line? The ac does work and blows cold. The drivers side mirror does not work with the control in the door. Ok now I have had quite a few of these cars and I must say this one is the best driving vette of this year I have ever had. Driving this car down the road at any speed there are no noises or rattles of any kind, the suspension is tight and the car drives straight down the road. The motor has plenty of power and the transmission shifts firm and as it should. I am sure there will be questions and I will try to get answer then as quickly as I can.
