For sale, is my 1984 V65 cruiser. Above average condition. Just serviced and ready to go anywhere. If your seriously looking for one of these old muscle bikes, then I don't need to go in to details about the performance. It's legendary ! Just look at the research V65, the reviews describe it better than I could. I've had this bike for about 4 years now and only selling it because I bought an 05 Vstar and need the cash for some needed accessories. I will miss this machine. There is nothing else like the V65. Unless you have owned one, it's a totally different experience when you open her up on the open rode ! Awesome, smooth, endless power @ any speed. My 1100 Vstar is a nice bike but can't even begin to compete with the performance of this 1100 V65. This bike has had excellent maintenance since I have had it. It's always been in a heated garage. The tires are just like new, with under 1,000 miles. I bought the mustang seat on ebay (looks great and is very comfy) still have the original. I also bought replacement new oem matching side covers $$. They have the correct coloring to match the tank. One of the old ones blew off on the interstate. (they needed replaced anyway). If you look close at the pictures you will see that the backrest pad has 2 imperfections, they are small and have been sealed. The tank has a small ding and scratch and the front fender has a small ding (chrome still in very good shape).The paint is original and shows some fade but still polishes up great ! The speedometer & odometer works fine but milage is not actual. Title showed exempt when I bought it. 2nd gear has the common problem of not wanting to stay enguaged under heavy accelleration. It works fine with normal use and when you want to blast off, simply skip to 3rd. This bike don't care and you really won't miss it !!! Other than that this bike is in great, original condition. It does not use or leak any fluids and starts and runs great. What you see is what you get. She's ready to go across country if needed. Of course there is no warranty, but I would not be afraid to take this bike on a 2,000 mile trip. If you have questions, ask away. I have tried to descibe it as well as I can, but will be glad to answer any question that I know the answer to. I will not ship. I prefer local pickup. However, if you arrange for a shipping company to pickup locally , I will do my best to work with them. I will require a paypal deposit of $500 within 24 hours of auction ending and remaining balance in cash or cashiers check within 7 days of auction ending. I do have a reasonable reserve, I won't say what but will say I have 3 times the reserve price invested. Do not be afraid of this bikes age. It does have a vista throttle lock, highway pegs, new brakes all around (including rebuilt rear caliper), K&N air filter, new clutch & brake handles and clutch and brake master cylinders rebuilt last year. Also if you look close, you will see an extra set of passenger foot pegs. I made these for my wife,s bad knee. They are just bolt on, but everyone who I has been a passenger prefers them, so I thought I would let them go with the bike.
