Vehicle Detail
The drive train on the car is rebuilt and strong but it has also sat for some time so you never know what could happen. I stand by all the work that has been done to the car but can't guarantee anything. Also the tires are in perfect condition with almost no miles on them and look good but also have some age on them. The only present mechanical issue that I know of is the ground wire that goes from the neutral on the battery to the frame needs to be replaced it is original and doesn't make a good connection so sometimes it won't start but all you need to do is pop the hood and wiggle it. I hardly ever drove the car so it was more of an annoyance then a problem. Also when I had the new brake system installed the spring that works the e brake was never installed its like a $10 spring but I never use e brake so didn't bother because the part was on back order. As it is now the e brake will work but when you try to release it that spring is not there on the release so it would be stuck on. I can tell you though that this car in my opinion is very clean and would not take much to make it a daily driving head turner or you can do a complete restore. One thing I should ad because a lot of people were turned off by this, I was going to shave the door handles and put door poppers on this car because I like the clean look. If you don't want this GREAT none of the equipment has been installed so you will have a few hundred dollars worth of quality equipment to sell. The drivers door however has been shaved which is not a big deal you can simply cut out the hole or have the door re skinned for cheap. All the original door equipment is there and the passenger door has a new skin on it but has not been shaved.Any thing that I have described as NEW or REBUILT is as stated but just so you know most of the work was done 5 to 10 years ago. The car is still started and drove around the block regularly to keep everything lubricated and working in order. It starts right up and drives now but the battery needs to be replaced. If you have any questions pm me. I have tried to give all info to the best of my ability. The car is available to be viewed and test driven. Add subject to termination at any time as car is for sale locally. Located in Bend Oregon 97701. On Jul-16-13 at 21:17:16 PDT, seller added the following information: Edit. The motor is out of a late 60's Pontiac Lemans. This is an original a/c car but does not have the a/c components under the hood. I said the battery needs to be replaced but it is currently holding charge and starts fine. The wheels are american racing 18's they look very similar to the cragers. No known rust issues. This car drives straight down the road, smooth and tight. No major accidents that I know of. I have owned this car for 12 years and drove it very little clean and clear title.
