Up for sale is a used 1974 vw thing. I bought this car and it was originally yellow. Top was missing, but all other stock parts were on the car.Car was taken fully apart and restored. all the panels were taken down to the bare metal and coated with a ppg epoxy sealer. body work was then startedand sealed with a urethane primer and sealer and painted with a dupont paint and clear. since restore car has few minor scratches and chips. Floors were replaced, all rusted out panels were cut out and replaced. all orginal panels were saved and restored. rear fenders are the only items that are not stock. engine was taken out and rebuilt, all items that are bolt on such as carb, exhaust, starter, coil, plugs, fuel pump, oil pump, oil cover, pulley, beltsand much more were replaced. all the lights are new and replaced. mirrors were replaced, visors were replaced. tranny is original. all the tires were replaced with new mitchlen tires. all the shocks were replaced. front ball joints were replaced, front sway bushing were replaced. all the brake cables were replaced.Bottom of the car was coated with a bed liner spray to prevent any further rust from ever happening again. lots of money was invested into cari use the car couple of times a month driving it back and fourth from car shows and fairs.
