Vehicle Detail
As the title states, I have a great 1966 Ford Mustang equipped with a 289 V8, I have added and edelbrock carb with electric choke, starts more often than not on the first turn. I have recently just had a custom dual exhaust installed here in norman by sooner muffler. It sounds great and looks even better! The original color was the ivy green, but during it's life it was resprayed with a candy blue and has a great dual color look to it in the sunlight. The body is in great condition with very little rust and has been garage kept since I purchased it from the second owner, I still have the original book and black plates. It is wonderful car, but will still need a bit of work on the inside. All the glass in the car is in great condition, but the window regulators will need be replace, but luckily I have both brand new regulators that will come with it ready to be installed. And there is a slight oil leak, I am sure it is just the oil pan seal that needs to be replaced, a simple fix. I already have a bunch of new parts ready to be installed and it comes with the car, all purchased It has a new headliner already installed, and I have new door panels, hardware to get it looking inside as well as out. It also comes with new black molded carpet made for the car, and brand new shocks and struts. The milage shows 61,082 on the Odometer. The block was professionally remanufactured and all new rockers, rollers, distributor and water pump were installed.this car is begging for someone with the time to finish what little is left to make it a wonderful daily driver. This could be the new family car to go to the 50's diner and grab some shakes. The story:I purchased this car after returning from Afghanistan in 2007, I have since separated and am a disabled veteran with a limited budget. It breaks my heart, but I am just not able to put in what needs to be done. I am hoping someone can make this the dream car it should be. This car is a wonderful piece of history and will be a treasured piece in any family's garage.I have tried to include as much information as I can, I will keep adding as time goes on, but in the meantime, please feel free to Email me anytime with questions, I will get to you ASAP.
