1998 Volkswagen Jetta TDI AHU manual 5-speed 53,000 MilesFor sale is my 1998 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Sedan 4-door. Has only 53,000 miles. Extremely Rare car for year and milage. 2 almost 3 years ago i purchased this TDI off an auction in florida as a project car. For about a full year iv spent countless hours of work and money on this car.Has a Salvage ky title due to damage to quarter panel, the skin was replaced by a local Nicholasville body shop. My plan was to Drive the car till it Rotted, but once i finished the car, i just couldn't drive and put milage on this rare of a car. So i washed it, Sealed it with Finish Kare, parked it in the garage and put a cover on it. Once in a while i would take it out for a spin in town, or on a nice sunny weekend. The car has never seen snow ! its been in rain only a couple of times . My original plan was to paint the car a lighter more metallic green, but ended up painting it a BMW Mini cooper British Racing green (Paint code B22) Entire car was Re-painted( Would have cost $4500 ) Spent the most time on prep and paint ! Months ! Tail lights were taken off a vr6 and re shot with metallic clear to create a darker deeper beautiful more metallic look. Door handles were also torn apart and repainted. All moldings and trim was removed prior to paint. MK3 EURO FRONT LIP MK3 EURO DOOR TRIM (PAINTED) MK3 EURO ABT SIDE SKIRTS (NOT ON CAR) (BLACK TEXTURE) (SHAVED CLEAN) No expense was spared when painting the car. I believe that paint is the most important part in making a car stand out ! Interior was completely re-wrapped with Suede. No expense was spared, Before the Project ever began i put countless hours of research into restoring an interior with suede. This was a insane 4 step process. Foam padding underneath all suede. The fabric cost $45.00 a yard ! Door panels were repainted with SEM Products. Shifter boot and e-brake cover was stitched and redone myself. Its not perfect but for my first time i was really pleased ! Im sure you will be too ! Parts list:Tech art Coilovers 10mm spacers in rear 16x9 xxr ccw reps stretched with Falken ZE512 205/45/16 Brand New < Only Hundred miles or so >Cold-Air intake with a AEM Dry-Flow HID 6000k High-Low kit Every bulb in or outside of car is LED Oil changed with Castrol Fully-Synthetic Straight pipe past converter. Muffler is gone. Gives the car a Deep Sound and turbo spool is more responsive !!(LOUDER TOO) Cant remember everything probably forgetting something. oh and if the price is right i have some ABT Side skirts ! Took them off Recently. Brand New !!! ***The car was completely slammed but it was impossible to get up the drive way so i cranked it back up*** The seats are faded in the front due to it being a florida car , some old granny or grandpa probably drove it to the market and back (The milage on this car is unreal) (but cheak carfax ) Really clean car inside out. There is no problems whatsoever with this car, the srs light is on (have no idea why bags were never touched) maby because i took the interior apart and unplugged something. Heck i dont know. Transmission is great, clutch is great, engine is spotless. No mechanical issues at all Only 53,000 miles. Thats only 3,500 miles a year !
