Vehicle Detail
1974 440 six pack Plymouth duster. I really hate to sell her as I have put a ton of work and money in this car. But being unimployed has put me behind and she needs to go. I have placed a fair reserve that would just about cover the money I have invested. There's no way I will ever get back my cost in time. First off a description of what you get. A 1974 (was 6 cyclender) car 1976 (I believe) 440 engine with the following parts. Standard bore with trw eyebrow 10;1 pistons. Thin metal shim head gasket. Heads cleaned lapped and pocket ported by me as well as gasket matched. Electronic msd ignition with msd coil. Aftermarket hi output six pack camshaft with new lifters. Bran new six pack alum intake with bran new six pack holleys set. Rods checked and re sized where needed and all federal mogal bearings. Naturally new gasket set and all new seals. New all alum water pump and fuel pump (mechanical with pressure valve in line).Bran new gas tank and sending unit as well as see through fuel filter in front of and another before entering carbs. Used transmission that seems to shift fine (727 auto) has deep pan but have not hooked up passing glinkage yet. 2 1/4'' exhaust all the way to the back through cast manifolds, has thrush turbo mufflers. rear end is from a 90's explorer with a 373 posi unit, disc brakes and rear has been cut down and axle tubes have been welded. Car has 5 on 4 1/2'' bolt pattern all the way around. Still has drum brakes on front. No power steering or power brakes. Alternator charges fine and motor has less than ten soft miles on it . Clear title but no tags or inspection sticker. Will need a few upholstery fixes as seen in pictures. Paint job was quick and not perfect but not too bad. Has 2011 rear spoiler from dodge challenger and the six pack scoop is open into a specially built breather for the six pack air intake. All glass seems to be good , wiper motor works but needs to be re connected to wiper arm inside. All lights work and side lights are new. For some reason blinker lights on left side dont want to work. Noticed a small trans leak spot the other day. Dont know if its a pan drip or a seal although all were changed. Air shocks and traction bars are under the rear so no wheel hop. Stock radiator and was going to go electric fan but have not yet decided so no flex fan on motor. Some body work in the usual places, rear quarters and repaired a large dent behind drivers side door. Car seems to have vinyl top but not true. I tried an experiment and it came out great. Wal mart line a bed is what you see and will last longer than any vinyl top. Fuel alt and speedometer all work yet have not hooked up water or oil pressure gagues yet. Has a bran new battery with a new mini starter. All new tires and mags. Has origional radio that does not work. Still need a little work so bid with that in mind. Will need to be picked up on low boy for transport home. Ask questions and dont bid if you cant pay for it. Thanks and good luck...On Jul-09-13 at 19:04:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Somehow in the title description it was marked as an existing warranty on this car, (IT DOES NOT HAVE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY),I guarantee it to run and drive as it should in the stage of build that it is in. I cannot and will not express or imply that I would warranty this vehicle as it is a hot rod and we know how we treat hot rods. The warranty I will give is this. It will start and run without any knocks or rattles and it will stop and pull trough all three gears as it should. The rest of the warranty is this , 50 feet or 50 seconds, which ever comes first.
