Up for auction is a 1948 Chevrolet Stylemaster four door sedan. This car is in above average original condition. It has never had any rust and subsequent patchwork. The odometer shows 2880 miles. These are the miles since an engine overhaul. The engine is the correct 216 CDI. The interior, seats and door panels, show some nominal wear. The headliner is flawless. Accessories: Turn signals, fog lights, Fulton sun visor, radio, heater/defroster, backup light and beauty rings. Recent upkeep: Recored radiator (2013). Most of the front end components were replaced and the front end aligned. Windshield replaced. Period correct turn signals installed. Original gas tank replaced with a poly tank. The bake system was overhauled; the master cylinder has a stainless steel sleeve and the system filled with silicon fluid. Exhaust pipe and muffler replaced. Not connected and tested: Radio, windshield wipers, fog lights and backup light. This used vehicle is being sold without warranty other than a clear legal title of ownership.
