1968 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible This is a very original 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible. This car just came out of storage and had not been driven for over close to 11/12 years although was always regulary started. The car runs great and drives very well. The exterior color is very light powder blue with a white top and blue interior. The original vinyl seats were recovered years ago but still look good. The car is very rust free with only one small spot just along the rear trim where the top meets the body. It is powered by a 390 V8 and a auto trans and has been converted to electronic ignition. The steering, brakes and the top are all power and work well. The radio, clock, horn, all lights work as they should. All the windows are free of damage and roll up/down. The body & paint are all original so the car does have a few scuffs and dings. The odometer shows just over 36,000 miles...original or rolled over, I don't know. The power top works just fine and the original top is still in great shape although the rear window is starting to seperate at the seam. Inside the trunk is the old weathered top boot, tire chains, original jack, spare tire, and even a orignal spot light still in the box. Trunk well is rust free as is the rest of the underside. The custom license plated do are not included with the car, although the original oregon plates are included. As with any old car that has not been driven much it should have a complete once over before being considered a daily driver type car.
