You are bidding on a very very nice 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk 2 dr Hard Top. It was purchased by my son's father in law Doug on June 28th 1978 from the original owner. Diabetes got the best of Doug and after 35 years in Dougs control this beautiful Hawk will leave the family. In addition to the car many assorted parts will go with sale. These are things like 2 super chargers and a special manifold to accomodate the supercharger, four original rims and hub caps (Larger wheels and tires with custom wire wheel hub caps have been added for looks), outside mirror, arm rests, moldings, mylar gold sheeting, remote oil filter, door handles, brochures, body parts catalog, chasis parts catalog. shop manual and a log of everything Doug did to or for the car. Being garaged this car starts and runs and stops great as the brakes were all gone thru in 2012 which cost better than $2,000.00. The last 6,000 miles were mainly put on by going to local car shows and a few Sunday drives. I am starting the auction at $24,500.00 with No Reserve! It is sold as is with all faults with no warranty express or implied. It has a clear Illinois title and registration and plates are current. The car is located in Moline, Illinois and is just 10 minutes from the Quad City International Airport and I would be happy to pick you up.
