1939 Chevy Rat Rod: No Reserve This Hot Rod Truck is a 39 Chevy that has been chopped 5 ½ “ and channeled 5”. It’s low 52” tall, but not to low to drive around, it clears most speed bumps. If you are six feet tall you won't fit in truck. It drives straight and smooth. It has a 4” dropped axle, hair pins pro shocks and disc brakes (chevy spindles). Rear is a 10 bolt Chevy 2.73 gears Engine is a 283 SBC with turbo 350 trans. Edelbrock 600 carb and intake, chrome valve covers. Cooled by a 5 core radiator. Big Daddy Don Garlits wild street induction setup. Real Hilborn injectoion look. Truck is painted flat black with custom hot rod flames and air brushed maltese cross on roof. Grill has Punisher logo painted on it with PBG glow in the dark paint with green LED eyes that light up. Exhaust is a custom set of headers made to clear everything and dump out between cab and frame where the cherry bombs run and come out behind the cab with 3” tips. It’s a quiet ride with a nice rumble to it. Wheels are painted same color as motor. Front tires are new Interior, dash is painted black with silver scallops with orange pin stripping. Gage cluster is stock and not working but looks nostalgic. Zebra door panels, skull with top hat shift knob, eight ball window cranks and dice windshield crank. All windows are glass and stock window cranks work, they do go up and down. Side glass is stock and little filler pieces are added to fill the gap when windows are rolled up. Front windshield is tinted green. Now best part a Rat Rod with Air Conditioning and heat and defroster. Compressor is locked up but I have a brand new one for it. Tail gate has the Punisher lettered on it. And it does open. Floor bed comes up to service the battery drive line and gas tank as needed. VW gas tank’ Big Daddy himself signed the dash back in 05 but it is fading. Truck has won numerous awards been in Newspapers and TV locally. I bought it off of Rollin Sixes Choppers and Rodz back in 2006. It gets killer gas mileage 20 MPG. Truck weights in at 2100 lbs. Truck is sold as is and buyer pays all shipping and handling.
