I am selling my red 1980 Honda CBX which I have owned since 1988 (title proof available). I am selling this biks as I recently purchased a 2013 Honda CB1100. I also own a 1979 CBX, plus a '94 and '95 CB1000 (and am running out of garage space). The bike starts, runs and brakes very well, and comes with original tool kit and owners manual. The following upgrades have been made over the years: Corbin Canyon racer seat; Pingle gas valve; Stainless steel brake lines; Dynatec ignition and coils; Progressive shocks; 1979 model instruments (exchanged at exact mileage). Avon Road Runner rear tire at 20085 miles; Metzeler Laser Tec front tire at 20785 miles. AGM battery June 2011. New brushes at 20668 miles. Oil and oil filter and plugs last changed at just over 21000 miles. Body work is in excellent condition as evidenced by pictures. there is a scratch on the headlight shell. The exhausts on both sides have been repaired with wide stainless steel flange in the area where it is known to rust. I am confident that this repair will hold up for many many years to come.
