First and most important, please check our feedback. We are a professional estate sale company. We will never "fluff" an ad to make a sale. Still on trailer from removal is the exceptional 1980 Honda CB 650. This bike is in super great condition with new rubber front and rear. We got the bike home, checked the oil, put in a newer battery and fresh gas and she popped right off. NOW - she smells like turpentine so The carbs are going to need to be pulled and cleaned i'm sure. But the bike starts right up, idles rough and will not stay running with choke off. Also, a couple floats are stuck so gas does run from a couple of the carbs. At some point the tank was coated. I've completely inspected the bike on the trailer and cannot believe the condition. In all my years I've never seen a cleaner 30+ year old bike. The only known issue besides the carbs is it is very possible at some point the gas tank was re-painted. You can't tell unless you look real close. This is an amazing bike for anyone.On Jul-01-13 at 15:35:41 PDT, seller added the following information: Upon further inspection the gas tank HAS been repainted and appears to have been done with spray paint. From a short distance bike looks good, up close you can tell it is not a professional paint Job.
