Vehicle Detail
The beauty has been parked in a barn for the past 24 years and is in great shape. She is a classic C10 with a virgin dash that still has the radio delete plate installed. Has a straight 6 (250) which I have replaced the fuel pump, rebuilt the carb, installed new plugs, points and condenser. It starts right up and runs smooth as silk with no noise in the motor that I can detect. It does smoke a bit but I do think that is due to the fact that I just put some Seafoam in the tank to clean out the top of the motor. Clutch works and it does drive. There is some rust (hey it's 46 years old) in the rocker panels, cab corners and the usual spots but the floors are totally in tact. Also has some rust through above the windshield. This would make a great restoration project to bring back to original, turn in to a Rat Rod or just drive it the way it is because as you can see it has a real cool look just as it sits. I bought this from an estate and I am working with them to get the title which currently is lost. I have all the paper work and information to get a title which I will include including a local Law Enforcement inspection form. If I have title by the time the auction ends I will include it, otherwise I will simply include a bill of sale. Truck is being sold as local pick up only, if you would like to have it shipped I will assist in any way I can but you must ship it yourself. Alternately I can possibly deliver it for you for a pre-agreed on and pre-paid fee within 300 miles of Chicago. On Jun-22-13 at 16:11:18 PDT, seller added the following information: What appears to be a hole in the dash is the heater control which is there, some one just took the screws out and it fell in to the dash. If I get a chance I will put it back in and take a new pic but rest assured it is there.
