Exterior This nice looking original 65 Ford Mustang convertible has 45,656 miles on the odometer. (That might be not accurate). The current owner has the car since 1986. The car was kept in the garage and never had an accident since then. Originally assembled in Dearborn, MI. The engine is a 289CI/225HP 4BBL with a 3 speed transmission. The car was painted in 2003. There is some rust on the frame and the exhaust pipes. The new tires were driven less than 1,000 miles. There is an additional set of original hub caps. The Mustang name/logo plates were replaced too. The convertible top fabric is in excellent shape including a new boot top. The hydraulic system of the top needs a new lift cylinder and a hydraulic hose which are included in the sale.The vin # is 5F08C687741 Doorplate code: Body 76A, color C, Trim D8, Date 12R, DSO 41, Axle 6, Trans 1 Interior The white seats where redone in 2003 and are in very good shape. The steering wheel is believed to be original but has a crack. The red carpet was replaced in 2003 as well as the new dash pad Engine The engine is a 289CI/225HP 4BBL with a 3 speed transmission and is running fine. The engine got a dress up chrome kit, valve cover and an air breather. New shocks, brakes were repaired less than 1,000 miles ago. The area under the back seats looks good.
