Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice condition 2001 740i Sport Package car. I am the second owner. Previous owner was the wife of a corporate exec who took immaculate care of the car. The interior and exterior condition of car is superior. It has got to be the cleanest and best condition 01 available, and it is a true Sport Package car. Everyone thinks it is new, and to certainly drives like new. My sweet wife doesn't understand why she can't eat in it. (Well at least why I don't like for her to eat in it...because she does) I looked long and hard find this car and bought it out of state. It was just as the previous owner described and I will be detailed in my description. First of all everything works on the car. I have never had to recharge the A/C, and there no other kind leaks. There are no pixels out on the dash. There are no tears or excessive wear on the leather, and the roof panel is perfect. The interior is simply immaculate. If fact it still has the original factory installed cell phone. The exterior is immaculate for it's age. Upon very close inspection you can find one or two very minor paint scratches, but they are not visible 10 feet way. It is a 2001 and my daily driver, but it does get babies. There is no damage or bent panels, and all panels are original. There is also no glass damage. I have not checked but there may be history of damage. Car in minor parking lot accident at a wedding whe young man hit left front fender and end of bumper with the front rubber portion of his off road truck. Repairs were professionally completed. Accident picture is attached. This is what I added since owning the car: New battery, K&N air filter, real carbon fiber grille, and dual tip exhaust from Germany. I looked long and hard to find them, you won't find another like it, and the sound is very european. It is throaty but not too loud. The stock mufflers are included. I also replaced the plastic vent screw on the radiator with a bronze one. If I were to keep the car I would expect to do the following within the next year or two: 1) Replace rear tires (has staggered wheels and tires and rear wears faster. It has Continentals and they still have many miles left but they are getting near the wear marks. 2) Replace the front control arms - slight slow speed shimmy when tires are cold. Goes away after warmup.
