1987 IROC-Z Up for auction is a 1987 Chevy Camaro Iroc Z28. This is a beautiful, low mile car with only 27,407 miles at the time of this listing. It has the highly desireable 350ci engine with an automatic transmission. The car is Dark Red Metallic with Gold decals and a Red interior. It is in great shape and has been well cared for. This is a car that you will definitely be proud to drive or show off! BODY The exterior of the car is in great shape. There is no rust, no dings, no bad scratches, etc. The paint shines beautifully and the metallic really pops in the sun. All emblems and decals are in good shape. All rubber seals are good and the door jambs of the car are just as clean as the exterior. All glass is in great shape. Wheels are in good shape with no damage, but there are some chips in their clear coat. Overall, it's really a beautiful car. That being said, the car is 26 years old and is not 100% perfect. The front/nose of the car does have some slight blemishes. Mostly being small rock chips from normal driving. On the rest of the car, you might find a tiny rock chip or scratch here or there. It's in excellant shape, but just want to make sure there are no surprises. I've taken many pictures, and I'm sure you'll agree that it looks great. Interior The interior is in fantastic shape. There are no cracks, rips, tears, stains, etc. It is really clean and reflects the car's low mileage. It has the custom cloth interior option. Other options/features include power locks, power windows, power seat, cruise control, overhead roof console, cassette tape stereo with equalizer, electric mirrors, rear cargo cover, split rear folding seat, etc. It's a really nice, clean interior and everything works as it should. Mechanical Car has the 350ci 5.7l engine with the 4 speed automatic transmission. The rear end is the Borg Warner heavy duty 9 bolt posi with 3.27 gears which came standard on 87 Irocs with the 350 engine.The drivetrain runs good and strong. No leaks or known problems. I did have to replace the water pump and the previous owner replaced the alternator. Other than that, just regular maintenance things have been changed like belts and stuff. The exhaust on the car is not original. Previous owner added a "cat back"Flowmaster system. This gives the exhaust a deeper tone. I also replaced the front "Y" pipe because the original had a split along the seem. The suspension is nice and tight. Car has four wheel disc brakes in good shape. Tires are good with at least 90% tread. Conclusion - odds & ends This is a very nice, low mile car. Would be great for someone looking for a nice example of a Camaro Iroc-z to either drive, or possibly even show at your local car show or cruise in. Please understand that it is not a 100% perfect show car. It is what I would consider to be a really nice cruiser or weekend toy that is nice enough to get tons of compliments, looks, and attention. I've taken many photos, so please look them over. I'm sure I've forgotten some things, so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. The car is available for inspections by appointment. In the photos the antenna isn't on the car, but I have it. I take it off when I put a cover on the car and simply forgot to put it on for the pics. The car will come with a car cover, a copy of the original dealer invoice, a laminated copy of the window sticker(nice for car shows), and the owners manual along with some other pamphlets. Terms - payment A non-refundable down payment of $350 is due within 24 hours of auction end through Paypal. The balance of the winning bid is due within 7 days from auction end. Payments accepted are cash in person, bank wire transfer, or a certified bank check or money order. Car will not be released until funds have cleared into my bank account. Please do not show up with a bank check and expect to take the car home that day. It is the buyer's responsibility to either pickup the car or arrange to have the car shipped.
