You are bidding on a very nicely preserved 1976 Suzuki RE5 Rotary motorcycle. I purchased this bike from a private collector that obviously took good care of it. I had my mechanic change the fluids and check out all mechanical systems. Everything on the bike works well and checks out mechanically and electrically. It starts right up and is a dream to ride. Lots of power and extremely smooth. The motor does not smoke at all and has great compression. The prior owner has stated that the bike has approximately 25k miles on it. He had to replace the original speedometer as it was not working properly with a used one with higher mileage. He also had the Mikuni carb rebuilt by the late Sam Costanzo of Rotary REcycle.com. He also installed lots of new NOS parts to include the battery, clutch cable, tires, air filter, mirrors, ignition coil, points, front brake hoses and the original stickers and warning labels, new halogen head light bulb, new tires, rebuilt master brake cylinder, and polished the engine cases. The only items that will need attention to restore this bike to perfection are as follows; -the original paint on gas tank has some scratches - there is some chrome that shows age pitting ie., front fender, rear exaust tail pipes. Bike comes with; Plug adapter and 1 fresh NGK LMAR9E-J spark plug -Owners manual, shop manual, and parts catalog -Genuine Suzuki tool kit (new) -Lots of speciality tools and extra parts for tuning and service work If you have been looking to own one of these rare motorcycles then look no further.
