Vehicle Detail
1976 BMW 2002 This is the car that put BMW on the map. This is the final production year of the very well known e10 2002. This car was purchased from a Heritage for the Blind auction many years ago. It attracted me because of the lack of rust on all the common rust locations for e10s. Since its purchase a few years ago, it has had a full coolant system over including the water pump, only cooling system item that was not touched was the radiator, it was in good shape and I don't like fixing something that is not broken. The ignition switch and wiring were corroded so they were replaced. The battery, battery terminals, and starter were also replaced. Moving on to the pleathora of new parts... New wires, plugs, distributor, oil/filter. All new fluids. Car has very minimal rust, one of the worst parts are on the rear driver side fender. Both seats have covers on them, the passenger side seat is pretty decent. The driver side seat is far from decent. I didn't want to take the covers off so in the essence of being honest consider both seats destroyed. Tires are in great shape they do have cracks in the because of age but hold air and have plenty of tread. Car gets fired up constantly but hasn't been driven in a few months now but has sat at our warehouse away from all the elements. One thing I think should be addressed are the brakes. They have not been touched since I've owned the car and should be addressed soon, I drove the car every once in a while. I had big plans for it that just have never panned out so hence why I decided try its luck on ebay. With a little work this car would be a GREAT driver. Or if youre feeling gully and want an awesome conditioned square lighted 2002 it would make a great candidate for a full restore since its 100% complete and 100% straight. Our zip code is 33625 for any of your shipping quotes. You may call me directly at (904) 859-6467. Please understand this is an old car, any descriptions that I might state are merely my impressions of the car, I would rather you put your own eyes on it so you can understand the cars condition before you bid. I am ok with a PPI, but not after you win the car. Please ask all questions before you bid. After you win the car for the price you like is not the time to start wondering what you purchased. I am not being rude but I am saving you as a buyer your time.
