Hello, Here is my 1979 Cadillac Coupe Deville. It has the 425 engine and 400 trans The Good: Runs and Drives every time. New stock exhaust system and re-gasketed exhaust manifold (Jan. '12)Tires- Cooper Trendsetter SE (Dec. '11) 63,000, rotated (Dec. '12) 67,000 Master Cylinder (Jan. '11)Calipers/Rotors (Aug. '11) Power Steering Pump/Pulley/Belt (Oct. '12)Thermostat and Gasket and Upper/Lower radiator hoses w/Radiator Flush (Feb. '11)Rear air shocks (Feb. '11)Re-gasket and paint valve covers w/new pcv valve (Dec. '12)Alternator/Belt (Nov. '12)Battery (Jan. '11)Water Pump/Pulley/Fan Clutch (Jan. '13) Distributor, Module,Cap, Rotor, Plugs, Wires (Feb. 13) New Carburetor and gasket and fuel line: carb to fuel pump (Nov. '12) And a few other things, but I've always kept up on the maintenance The BadRust Hole on hood and lower passenger doorLandau top is weatheredFront seats have rips and tearsEngine has a noisy lifter- When I took the car to the dealer in Nov. '12 to have the engine tuned and jetted because of the new carburetor, they did a compression check and said it was good, but the lifter was noisy. I bought a new intake gasket for when I replaced the lifters but never got around to it. So, the gaskets in the trunk No A/C I had the fittings converted from the old R-12 to the new R134a but couldn't get the system to charge.
