Smitten with these older scooters, I decided I needed to have one to cruise around town. Shortly after acquiring this I found a newer Yamaha Vino and decided it would be a more sure-fire bet for taking on rural highways. I do not know much of the history on this bike, but the engine fires up and runs smoothly (for all 10 minutes I have ridden it). It seems to shift as is should, no clutch on this design makes it easy for beginning riders. The previous owner (Fall of 2012) claimed to have had the points re-lined and the fuel system cleaned. I drained the fuel for the winter and this past week got around to filling it back up and it came back to life just as it should. This bike is far from perfect, there are scrapes, scratches, cracks, smears, dents...etc, it is a 50 year old bike. The previous owner included the windscreen that is shown in the pictures. It is from a Honda Passport, he claimed them to be interchangeable though I do not know the validity. One of the connecting tabs on this screen is broken but I would anticipate could still function. The windscreen in only placed on the bike for the pictures and is currently not fastened nor have I ever had it fastened. I do not have any paper work on this bike but would be glad to fill out some sort of bill-of-sale for any buyer. There is no key for the bike, the ignition was bypassed in some manner. The choke is used to kill the bike (quite high-tech). As the choke must be accessed to stop the bike (without solving the ignition dilemma), the windscreen is best left off for the time being. The tires are decent, have held air since October with no issue. The muffler has been hit from the kick starter and is dented although the pictures do not do a great job portraying this. I would be more than happy to provide additional information or pictures to any interested parties, simply let me know what you would like. Serial number is C100-E045xxx. From Honda serial number charts seems to indicate this to be a 1962. I believe everything stated above to be accurate though have little knowledge in these areas, please keep my incompetency in consideration when bidding. These bikes weigh in under 200 pounds making them very maneuverable and easy on novice riders. Properly tuned they have been reported to get towards the 150 mpg mark. This is a 4 cycle bike, not 2 stroke, so there is no oil to add/mix like many of the cheap imports today. I filled the title section in the listing with (clear) as ebay requires it to be filled. I do not have a title though ebay doesn't allow to fill it out as such. Please be aware of this. I am willing to store this up to 1 month to facilitate pickup or will load on any vehicle that comes to pick it up.
