1982 HONDA GL1100 ASPENCADE This bike has 16,500 original miles on it at the time of this posting! It was recently brought out of storage where it had been for a few years. Here is what I did to get it ready. Carbs were cleaned and new complete kits were installed in all four carbs. (Needles and seats, gasket sets)Oil was changed with Honda 10-40 and new Honda oil filter installed. Brake Calipers were removed, cleaned and reassembled with new piston seals from Honda. Brakes bled with new DOT 3 fluid. New tires installed, front and rear. Dunlop E3 touring tires.(Less than 200 miles on them) Mounted and balanced by local Honda dealer. ($400.00)Rear final drive gear oil was changed.New fuel filter installed.Fuel tank was rinsed. There is a bit of corrosion in the tank, however in running the first tank of fuel, the filter is clean and the bike runs great. Some highlights of the bikeExcellent Condition overall, no cracks or bruises on the bikeVinyl is excellent as this bike was always stored inside. Includes Aspencade tool kit Everything works except for the horn. (looks like it needs replacement) Air suspension works great.Clarion Stereo works with some static. THIS BIKE IS FOR SALE LOCALLY . Here is a chance to own a low mile classic, in excellent condition, that is ready to go! I just put 100 miles on it and the motorcycle drives and runs excellent. It's a blast to drive and runs true, especially with the new tires! Generally, this motorcycle is in excellent shape and only needs some attention to detail here and there. For example the chrome needs to be cleaned and polished, there is light corrosion, but most of it comes off with the use of some Honda metal polish I bought.
