This 1964 Ford Galaxie XL 500 has 71,134 actual miles. The original owner purchased this car new in 1964 in Scottsbluff NE. We bought the car in 1997 and are the 2nd owners of the car. It has been kept in a garage since purchase. We drove it today when we took it out to take pictures. The interior seats are original, unfortunately the driver's seat shows signs of having more use. The rest of the seats are in perfect condition. The carpet is original. It has factory installed air conditioning, and the original spare tire in the trunk. The windshield wipers quit working. We purchased this car at an estate sale. The little old lady who bought this car new, drove it for years to go shopping. When she could no longer drive, she hired people to drive her to the store. We talked to the mechanic who serviced the car on a regular basis for her and he said it was a very good car. The bad news is that a little old lady drove the car a bit too long, so the car has some dings and small dents that are shown in the pictures. The paint is original from the factory. Factory color is Prairie Tan body with Wimbledon white roof. The car is as original, as the day it rolled out of the Ford Factory. This is a beautiful car in a very good condition as you can see by the pictures.
