You are bidding on a very clean 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 SLT trim Quad Cab pickup truck with a short bed and only 115,595 miles. It is in very good condition inside and out, with no body damage, no rust, clean carpets and upholstery, and has a non-smoking history. It had a window sticker of $35,595 in 2004, plus $2,995 for dealer options, mainly tube steps, rain guards, a bug deflector and a bed liner, which has been on since new. Also the truck has a soft tonneau cover (not pictured) which was bought in the aftermarket. The rear axle ratio is 3.92. I have the original window sticker, and in addition to the standard features of the 1500 SLT Quad Cab, it has the following options: Premium cloth 40/20/40 Bench Seat ($455); Package 26G, consisting of AM/FM stereo with CD (replaced with a nice Pioneer unit with a USB port) and infinity sound system ($870); two tone paint ($225); fold flat rear storage ($100); 5 speed automatic transmission ($1,170); anti-spin rear axle ($285)' Hemi engine ($995); sliding rear window ($140); auto dim rear view mirror, side molding and fog lamps ($265); and 20 inch aluminum wheels with off road tires and a 20 inch spare. Three of the four center trim pieces on the wheels are missing, and a couple of the wheels are a bit pitted, but all are fully functional, the flaws are purely cosmetic. Overall the truck is in very good condition for the year, and has a lot of life left in it. The previous owner towed a small boat with it once in awhile, otherwise it was a daily driver to go to work, etc. so no heavy use or off road abuse. This was a single owner truck up to March of this year, when I took it on trade from the local original owner, who bought an almost new Ram 3500 diesel I sold in order to buy a wake board boat. I was looking for a trade in to get a tow vehicle, but my wife has decided to use a full size SUV as her daily driver, which can also tow the boat, so we do not need the pickup after all. I did drive it to North Carolina from northern Indiana (about 750 miles each way) to get the boat, and ran a few other trips with it too and it runs great. It has a fresh oil change and before going to NC my mechanic went over it for any needed repairs and replaced a wheel hub and bearing, oxygen sensor, and did a front brake job. After that he gave it a clean bill of health, and it has run very well. The truck is just south of Crown Point, Indiana, about 48 miles south and a little east of downtown Chicago.
