Vehicle Detail
This truck had a new complete frame-off restoration with exceptional attention to detail - everything is new. Every bolt is new. Every mounting rubber pad is new. Frame is painted black. Entire truck was painted while apart. Attention to detail shows everywhere. Every little rubber grommet, plug, etc., is new. The interior is custom and very nice. Paint is exceptional. The paint shows up red on my computer, but it is a beautiful orange. If you print out a picture you will see the true orange color. I have taken it to a few shows and it has always drawn much attention and many compliments. CUSTOM FEATURES: Steel cowl induction hood Aluminum radiator and stainless steel shroud Cadium plated hood hinges Interior Wing-Vent windows removed Wood and stainless pickup bed Louvered rear pan and tailgate Side opening tailgate CHROME FEATURES: New bumper and grill Belt pulleys Power brake booster and master cylinder Power steering pump and mounting bracket Oil pan and dipstick Alternator and mounting bracket Tilt steering column 20 inch wheels Too much more to list The engine is 400 cubic inches, with a small cam, about 350 horsepower, it comes with all the chrome and runs and sounds great. Edelbrock intake and carburetor, stainless Hedman headers, and complete stainless exhaust system. Transmission is turbo 350. Rear end is 12 bolt 355. Driven only 2,000 miles since restoration. Very reliable. Front disc brakes and rear drum. I can't begin to list all that has been done to this truck - little details like chrome transmission linkage and dipstick. A very detailed and expensive build. The short bed stepside is the most sought after, and rarest of these trucks. Trucks are about the only collectibles appreciating in value. The NADA book on this truck is $45,000, but the reserve is much, much less. The inside of the fenders is undercoated so it can still be driven and enjoyed. Personal inspections are encouraged, as pictures can't begin to show the quality and detail of this truck. Will consider SSR, SRX, or other interesting trades. This is a $40,000 restoration, and I won't give it away. Call (386) 265-4294 with any questions you may have. NOTE: Truck is also for sale locally, and may be sold at any time.
