Rare low-mileage, 5 speed, factory hardtop combination (if you buy the car, you have option to buy the hardtop for an additional $1,200 over selling price). Beautiful car, in excellent running condition. Fast, tight, and fun. I have owned this BMW for a little over five years, garaged it, and put about 3,000 miles on it annually. Engine runs great and transmission shifts very smoothly. Everything works as it should. New clutch and canvas convertible top. Top mechanism works fine. Matching factory hardtop is simple to install and remove. Original paint; no accidents. No dents or rust, but a couple of small dimples and chips from light use over 16 years. Tires are matching Kumhos with decent tread. Six-CD changer in trunk. Factory tool kit on trunk lid still has all tools. Very dependable; I have had no problems whatsoever. Interior is good, with a couple of caveats. Small horizontal cut in driver s seat bottom (see photo). It has been this way since I bought the car and is not getting bigger. There is some staining on the rear seat leather -- I have not tried to clean it. Pixels on radio display are hard to see in daytime. Small bend on deck lid from bike rack. Other than that, car is ready for many summers to come. Car is located in suburb of New York City and is accessible by public transportation.
