I bought this bike about 6 months ago and thought I’d like exploring around the northern Nevada desert (and using this bike to get there). As it turns out, I don’t have any friends with BMWs, so I was riding alone which just isn’t fun. I like riding my Harley more, so this bike has to go. It’s in great shape – doesn’t burn any oil is what the previous owner told me (I’m the 3rd owner I think) and it has run just perfectly for the few hundred miles I’ve put on it. You can tell from the pics that it’s in great shape. It’s has new tires (previous owner just put them on before I purchased the bike). The bike has heated grips and ABS and runs like a champ. There are 2 very small dimples on the right side tank that don’t even photograph (and are hard to even feel) that I saw the other day when the sun was in just the right position – they don’t affect the paint at all. There’s also a small (eraser size) spot on seat - Just mentioning here for full disclosure. The bike came with lots of extras: two sets of Givi side cases – small ones (http://giviusa.com/Side-hardbags/Monokey-Lateral/E21-CRUISER in black) mounted on bike now and a larger set of Monokey E41s (http://giviusa.com/Side-hardbags/Monokey-Lateral/E41-KEYLESS ), a Givi Monokey E53 trunk http://giviusa.com/cases-top-case/monokey/E52-MAXIA , 2 sets of new still-in-the-plastic brake pads, a belt (not a BMW guy – don’t know what this is for), 2 windshields (Cee Baileys on it now), tail bracket (I think this is original BMW part that was removed to put the Givi trunk mount on the bike, 2 new spark plugs, and all the original owner’s manuals that came with the bike. These boxer engines last forever – I see ads all the time for bikes with a 100,000 or miles and still running like clocks. This one is just breaking in! Ha! I’m confident that this bike will take you anywhere you want to go, plus, it’s a great color! Shipping is buyer’s responsibility but I’ll make sure that I’m at home to meet the carrier. I can also pick you up at the Reno airport if you wanted to ride it to your place! Who’s the lucky person that’s taking this one home?
