Sorry to have to part with the car but after knee surgery I just can’t drive a 5 speed anymore. I purchased the car from a gentleman out of Houston Tx, where the car had sat for about 10 years. Did all the fluid changes and flush, changed plugs, wires etc. Car ran great and still does. Sun took a toll on the dash, I installed a new dash and new windshield. Looks great! There is no rust anywhere on the car, I have been, in-out-under etc this car and never have found rot anywhere. When the windshield was out, there was not rust around the window frame. Interior is a 9 out of 10! Car is black on black as you can see. Targa top has new headliner, but has a nickel size rip in the front which I have repaired and does not leak but looks so-so. I have done in the last 4 months: Removed A/C system, have all parts but Compressor. (locked) New Billy Boat cat bypass and new O2 Sensor New Dashboard New Windshield New/used Carrera Rear brake calipers Full tune-up New Mobil 1 New Toyo Proxies all the way around New targa top head liner H4 Lights Euro tail lights Radio Delete with tasteful plate Car starts, idles, goes down the road as it should. I am a PCA member and understand what this car should feel like and sound like. Never on the Track Cons: Paint is far from good 5 out of 10. Not sure about the re-spray at some point but it was not good. OK for my weekend fun but was planning on having it painted this winter. Fuchs are dull Door stays are missing, I have new but have not installed since surgery time. Exhaust leak??? I have been on Pelican Parts BBS trying to figure this out. I pulled the lower valve covers to be sure of no broken head studs, I did not find any which is rare for a SC. The engine shows no burn marks on the heads to cylinder meetings. I am thinking the exhaust gaskets at cylinders. I am not able physically to do the manifold removal nor do I have the experience for the possible broken manifold studs. You can only hear the leak on heavy acceleration and it is not loud, just sounds wrong. Full disclosure here. Assume the worst and be surprised on a easy fix! I have priced this car to sell. Sold As-Is Really hate to part with it as Air Cooled 911’s are getting rarer. This is a great example with some love will be around another 30 years. Clear Ohio Title Please ask questions, I can help you where I can if you ship the car. I had this shipped from Texas on DAS and it was great. Door to Door. Bank Transfer or cash only, unless you’re in the Cleveland area. $500 PayPal deposit. Car Pick up should be within 5 days of sale. I have purchased a Triptronic and need the room in the garage.
