This is a very rare car and of the 30 Smart cdi's I have owned, really like this one the most. It has virtually all of the standard options including traction control, block heater and cord, keyless entry, electric windows, power locks, air conditioning. Optional accessories include heated power mirrors, heat boost, upgraded stereo, upgraded alloy wheels, paddle shifters like on the formula 1 cars, tachometer and clock, and glass top with sliding sun shield. Brabus accessories include: 1. Brabus stitched leather seats with Alcantara inserts2. leather dash3. carbon trim pieces throughout interior4. Brabus aluminum pedals, shift knob, and emergency brake5. 3 spoke suede sport steering wheel6. Various exterior trim pieces with Brabus label 3 prior owners car and full Carfax available upon request. Mechanically, this car runs flawlessly. There is absolutely nothing that needs to be done. Only one very small cosmetic flaws. There is a small chip in the windshield. This car is definitely more then capable of doing a cross country trip. A CARFAX is available and shows 3 previous owners. If you send me your email, I'll happily email it to you. Finally, I do drive the vehicle somewhat, so mileage may increase slightly during the auction. This car is pictured with 4 winter tires. Winning bidder will receive 4 brand new Continental all season tires instead. There are just a few things that make Smart cdi's unique and one of only about 50 or so here in the United States. It is powered by a Mercedes engineered turbo diesel that is well known for lasting hundreds of thousands of miles. This euro-spec version has been in production since 1998 and has been proven dependable. I can easily achieve 50 to 60 mpg and hits speeds of 75+ comfortably on the freeways. The transmission is a Tiptronic (no clutch manual or sometimes called "slap stick"). Unlike the 2nd generation US models, it also has 6 speeds instead of the 5. Having disclosed that the car is a grey market car, please check your DMV to ensure it will title in your state. I have a clear Ohio title and will pass it on to the buyer. In addition to Ohio, I'm aware of these Smart cdi's in: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, Wisconsin. If you live in a state not listed, please check with your DMV or local title office to find out the procedures for titling gray market cars in your state. Be sure to mention it already has a clear Ohio title. If you happen to live in a state that does not allow for this car (like California for example), please contact me first before getting too discouraged. I have read online of certain legal ways to get this car possibly through. Also, if financing the car, ensure your lender will finance it without a "blue book" value or NADA. The car is located in Buffalo, NY, but I typically return to Columbus, Ohio Saturday, Sunday and Monday each week. I will gladly show the car and allow test drives but please contact me first.
