Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is this great 2003 GMC Savana Van Conversion. It comes with a 5.3L V8 Engine, An Automatic Transmission, Power Windows, Power Drivers Seat, Power Door Locks, A small TV and a Couch that opens to a Bed. It is Burgundy/Gold, with 96K Miles on it. It's in great condition and from a non-smoking environment. Please look at the pictures and I will describe the Van to the best of my ability. I bought it used about 7 years ago. My wife and I are a senior retired couple who used it mostly for traveling and camping across the country. It's unbelievably comfortable to travel in and gets about 16-17 MPG on the highways at 75MPH with the Air Conditioner running. The couch by itself is fairly comfortable but I always put a 4in Foam Mattress on top to make it perfect. I also built a very amateurish extension out of wood for the bed, but better extensions are available commercially. It runs great, does not use any oil and is very smooth on the highway. It has four Michelin Tires in good condition. It is equipped with a trailer hitch and standard connector for towing a trailer, however I didn't tow with it, I used the hitch to connect my bicycle rack. The Burgundy paint is original with some scratches as you might expect from a van of this age. The gold paint on the roof, hood and the fender trim is new. I had that painted because the hood and roof were badly faded. This van is in great shape and ready for a nice camping trip. The only thing I can think of is the plastic mud plate below the front bumper came loose and I re-attached it with tape. (See picture #16). It should be attached properly but I haven't had time. It doesn't have an electrical outlet, but I just run a power cord out the window to power up the TV, Lights, Heater and or a Fan. All and all this van has been very reliable. I wouldn't be afraid to sell this to my mother.
