With the air suspension (and almost NEW tires), this car rides GREAT! Smooth cranking & running, we have truly enjoyed this vehicle. It is comfortable and stable, a unique quality in a vehicle that sits this high. The HSE model rides really nice... I love the air suspension systems in these, it makes all the difference. BMW made the engines in this year model, so even at 188,000 miles this car purrs like it is ready to go another 100,000. If you want a Land Rover, you want one with the BMW engine! Our BMW repair shop said to just keep the oil changed and this car has LOTS of life left! It has a tan leather interior, dual sunroofs with shades, power seats, power locks, power windows, cruise control, smooth automatic transmission, dual climate control, ac runs ICE COLD, AM/FM stereo with single CD & Harman Kardon speakers (lots of them), navigation, keyless entry, heated seats, rear window washer, rear window defrost, premium alloys, almost NEW TIRES, lots of storage compartments (especially in the back), and a big back door that allows for a big opening, and it has a towing hitch. Occasionally, and for no rhyme or reason, the "Three Amigo" lights will appear. If you aren't familiar with the Land Rover Discovery, these are the lights for ABS, Traction Control, and Hill Descent systems. There are a number of sensors and codes that will trip these lights, and it is a very common thing to have happen with these models. The vehicle drives perfectly fine and all the systems are working, but the lights do come and go. We had the dealership look at them right after we purchased it and they said this is very common and does NOT effect the running of the vehicle at all. So, we just learned to live with the the "Three Amigos" and say a few words in Spanish whenever they appear (Ole'!) Recently, the Driver's door stopped locking and we had our repair facility look at it and they said the part to repair it costs $190 (our price considers this). The other doors lock/unlock and the alarm works. The rear door will only open from the inside so there is something wrong with the exterior handle or it's connection inside the door (our price considers this too). The body is in decent shape. The paint still shines, although some of the black trim is a bit dull in parts but this is easily remedied. There is a dent in the back drivers side corner (see pic) this is what happens when ya leave the house not having had your coffee (oops!). I backed into another car in my parking garage & being Mr Nice Guy I left a note with my insurance. The following week someone hit the front left corner (see pic) and did not leave a note with their insurance. Obviously, we opted not to pay the deductibles to get the repairs done. There is also a very slight door ding in the drivers door but it is barely noticeable. All in all it is a great car... the BMW engine runs smooth, the suspension drives well and the interior has plenty of room. ONLY SERIOUS BIDDERS! YOUR BID IS A CONTRACT TO BUY.
