65' Mustang Selling my beautiful California-built 1965 Ford Mustang coupe (DSO 72- San Jose). Great example of a rust-free pony car that has never left the state and has zero rust issues. Factory C-code car, still has original 289 that was rebuilt back in 2010 with a few mods. Very reliable and would make a great daily driver, I would not hesitate driving it anywhere. Runs very strong and has no mechanical issues, oil leaks, ect.. Has a newly installed 4 brl Holly carb and car was also upgraded with dual GT exhaust, a mild Comp Cam, and rear traction bars. Smooth shifting 4-speed manual trans with recently replaced clutch. This Mustang has all original sheet metal including rear quarters, front fenders, doors, rust free floor pans, front frame rails, trunk area, and torque boxes. Perfect 1/4 inch seams between body panels and doors also open and close very easy unlike many old mustangs. Car was painted about 2 ago by the previous owner and as you can see in the pics it still shines very nice. Has a few minor paint imperfections from normal driving but nothing major. Car was upgraded with all the exterior GT accents offered in 65 when it was re-painted as well. Interior was restored about a year ago and everything has been replaced including seat upholstery, carpet, headliner, door panels, gauge cluster, and most of the chrome & misc trim. Car has an aftermarket stereo that sounds great. All exterior chrome trim is in excellent shape Original glass all around in excellent shape as well. Most of the weather-stripping has already been replaced. Suspension is in good shape and car handles great at all speeds. Newer white line tires with brand new styled wheel covers. All electrical works well including dash gauges, heater, turn signals, wipers, ect.. I’ve got a clean CA title in hand with current tags until October 2013 ready to be transferred to the new owner.
