Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1969 camaro that we are sure is a SS, ( has front disc brakes, quick ratio steering box, dual fuel lines,12 bolt rear, unsure if its a posi, multi leaf springs, dual exaust and the factory hangers are still intact) it has all the Rs items on it it appears, vacuum hoses, lower reverse lights on tail panel, hideaway head lights ect, but there really isnt a way that ive found to say without a doubt its a RS, so the car will be sold as a SS with RS options. The car has been stored away since the mid 80s but as you can see it hasnt been stored inside all its life. car is originally hugger orange with black interior, but is now white with white houndstooth interior. the engine in the car is not the numbers matching engine to the car it is 3932388 which decodes to a 69 350 255hp block, car hasnt ran for multiple years but is not seized i was able to rotate it by hand. trans is a turbo 400 i believe but im not 100% sure it could be a turbo 350 but again has not been used in years. car ran and drove when parked. The body on the car is in pretty decent shape, the trunk pan will need replaced, only a partial though not a full, on both quarters there is rust starting to show right around the lip of the wheel well, and a small amount on the rocker panels. havent pulled the top off to see whats under there but it feels pretty solid. inside the car you can see the seat skins are weathered and will need to be replaced, the carpet isnt to bad and neither is the headliner, there is a console without gauges, and it doesnt have a tach in the dash like it should. The car will need some work but it is all there and is a good start to building a nice muscle car. We purchased this car in hopes of restoring it but it seems we have to many cars, finished and projects and not enough room so this one will have to goOn May-01-13 at 11:52:22 PDT, seller added the following information: VIN# 124379L573479, i will try to get trim tag info posted ASAPOn May-02-13 at 15:21:24 PDT, seller added the following information: added some more picks of the rockers, the rust spots and the underside of the car, its a 12 bolt not posi, and also found out the car used to be a 3 or 4 speed car as you can tell by the mount on the frame in the pic, will get the trim tag posted up tommorow, forgot to take a pic of it. underside of the car is suprisingly solid for its age On May-02-13 at 15:23:08 PDT, seller added the following information: and the trans is a turbo 400, not original of courseOn May-03-13 at 09:33:11 PDT, seller added the following information: TRIM TAG INFO......
