Here you go all you VW enthusiasts, the car you have been waiting for to come up for sale. This is my 1988 VW Scirocco in all stock form and amazing condition for its age. This is the last year for the Scirocco and to find one that is rust free, unmolested and still stock is very difficult to find! This is my second Scirocco I have had and it is time for someone else to enjoy her as I did. I use this car as my every day driver for work and it is a blast to drive and gets the looks all the time. The car runs and drives great and has never left me stranded. It still has some of the Scirocco gremlins that are normal but most everything on the car still works great! The exterior of the car is rust free along with the underneath of the car. Drivers side is straight and near flawless, passenger side front corner panel has a door ding type dent and the hood has a couple dings but nothing major. Has a stage one Tectonics exhaust from the cat back that is just a bit louder than stock and i just installed a new alternator ac couple weeks ago and besides that this car is stock. Here is a list of pros and cons on the car and I will be as honest as possible. Pros: Engine and Tranny run and shift smooth Rear wiper works w/sprayer Rear hatch stays open on its own Hood release works Both power windows work Very solid car Alpine CD Player Cons: Front windshield sprayer does not work Intermediate wiper speed does not work but hi and low do AC does not work Heater has a vacuum leak and is missing a plastic knob but still works Could use 2 new tires Front struts just starting to get weak Odometer does not work Rip in drivers seat bolster Cracked dash If I think of anything else I will add it but all in all good luck finding another Scirocco in stock condition this clean. As I indicated I use this car to go to work and back and that is a 100 mile round trip and I have no problems and make that trip 7 days every 2 weeks. The car is as clean as it looks in the pictures but is a 88 and shows signs of use and will be sold as is with no warranty.
