1998 Volkswagon TDI Jetta. . It runs great. I've had it since 2006, bought it with 130k miles and have put on about 85k more, most of those on veg oil. It has a greasecar brand WVO system, which was installed by a master Volkswagon mechanic and myself. Extras include a flat plate heat collector, vegtherm heater and a digital temperature sensor. It averages about 49 miles to the gallon on either diesel or veg. I actually drive it through a lot of the winter on veg, also, in upstate NY. Has sunroof, CD player, spare tire. I've recently replaced the tires and the front wheel bearings, as well. I'm selling it because it's an older car, and I have two young daughters, and wanted something newer. Recently bought a newer TDI, which I'm planning on converting, as well. About 1 month after we bought it, we were rear ended and the trunk was smacked in. The insurance company estimated damages to be greater than the car's value, and totalled it. That's why it would read "salvage title". The trunk was repaired, and it had no other damage from that accident. I've been confidently driving it with my children for years since then. If you run a carfax, that will come up. There is a dent on the drivers front side, don't know how it happened but likely from someone backing into it. There is some spot rust on the driver's rear door handle, beneath the license plate, and around the gas cap. Also, there is some melted purple crayon in the rear seat.
