Restorable 49 plymouth, drove last yr over 100 miles, newer tires, newer brakes, newer brake lines, relined fuel tank, newer clutch, New King pins, powder coated 5 rims, belts & hoses, all lights work, very drivable as is, needs one side windshiled replaced, flat glass (cheep) and has oil leak to pass inspection, some rust on the floors (patched), the frame is solid, also purrs like a kitten, . This was going to be a project for me but since have lost the time to work on her, I have a 1948 spitfire chrysler remanufactured engine that goes with the car, look at the pics, the engine has zero miles, however the original motor runs flawlessly, so thus the delema, this will be a great deal for someone, im just looking to move on and get as much space back with as little hassle of selling as i can , I have many spare parts that go with the car & engine deal , the windshild gasket is one of them, the original horns, light bulbs, brake drums, brake shoes, ect, the cars is almost bone stock. the chrysler engine has a offey twin carb manifold and custom exhaust manifolds, this would be a cool project for some one with the tools & time. I have advertized this locally also just to make sure she sells so put your best foot forward $$ and look these are getting harder to find, this is not a mint car you will spend some time on it, but you can drive it while you work on her, This is the the 1st year of nascar and is the same year car lee petty drove and won with, you can google lee petty 49 plymouth, and see the pics, i wanted to make a tribute car with this one, IT WOULD BE GREAT!!! You can find, this car in a field with no driveline for $2500, and the to make the spitfire motor is a simple swap to move the radiator forward 2 inches and its not a big deal.
