I'm relisting with no reserve. Up for bid is this 1976 FJ55 I just picked up from the original owner that claims the miliage is correct and is mechanically sound. It took some fresh gas and points cleaning to get it running strong from sitting a couple years. Some things I see it needs include muffler and exhaust work, tires, turn signal switch handle, wiper motor not working, egr valve (or not ), inside door handle, hinge pin driver door, seat covers, dash pad has cracks. Body wise the inner and outer rocker panels are bad and the fenders need repair and there is rust on roof in a few areas just above window area and tailgate needs work too. The floors look and feel solid and all four doors look like they just have surface rust no holes.All the inner fender wells and firewall are great condition. The brake pedal and clutch pedal feel good and no fluid leaks and fluid is clean. I know it may not look like much but I feel there is a good foundation here for an awesome rig. You won't have to spend a lot money on mechanicals and can spend on cosmetics. I have a clear title. I have it listed locally so may end auction early. Thanks.
