This truly fine automobile underwent restoration a few years ago. This is a currently registered and driven vehicle that is not only great looking, but super reliable and easy to drive. We don't have a complete pedigree on the build, but someone spent a lot of time and money on this project! It has a Scott's independent front suspension with coil overs, rack and pinion steering and huge disc brakes. It is powered by a 350 Chevy into a 350 Turbo Hydromatic transmission and what appears to be a 9 inch Ford rear end. It has a mellow dual exhaust system, an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and an Accel distributor. This Ford Coupe is very sanitary, performs well, and there are few faults to be found with the way that this car looks and runs. It has a modern tilt steering column with a beautiful Grant steering wheel and that makes getting in and out of the chopped coupe a whole lot easier. The interior is extremely tidy with old school button tuft Naugahyde tailoring over modern tilt bucket seats. There are seat belts installed to give some additional safety. The coupe is very at home on the road and behaves much better than one would expect! You can really count on this honest hot rod. We love to represent vehicles like this because we know that the new owner/s will be thrilled with their purchase. The paint has a few minor scratches and bubbling but is certainly a solid 7 to 8 out of 10, even if you are fussy. Most everything on the car is in working order. The vacuum wipers are as good as new, which is not that good, if you are old enough to remember that.
