1951 Ford F-1 Pickup Truck. This is a neat old Ford Truck. It originally came out of Georgia and the Body shows it. The Body is very solid. It has some minor dents and dings and a little surface rust, but no rust holes or rust issues. You don't usually find trucks this solid in Ohio. It is a cool looking old pickup with worn and faded looking Black Paint. The Odometer shows 11,683 miles. This appears to be the original odometer. It may have been around once, or it could have been replaced. I can't be sure. I believe the original color was Black. The Truck has it's original 239 Flathead V-8 Engine. The Engine has just been rebuilt. The Engine was bored .040 and the Crank was turned .010/.010. The original Valves were replaced with Stainless Steel Valves. The Truck also got a Rebuilt Clutch, while the Engine was out. The Truck has an original 2 Barrel Carburetor. It has a 3 Speed Manual Transmission with the Shifter on the Column. The Differential appears to be original equipment. The Truck has Stock Manual Steering and Manual Drum Brakes. The Complete Braking System has been rebuilt with New Master Cylinder, New Wheel Cylinders, New Brake Hoses and New Brake Lines. It Brakes Straight and Strong. After the Engine Rebuild the Truck got a New Starter, New 12 Volt Generator and 12 Voltage Regulator, New Fuel Pump, New Ignition Wires and more. The rebuilt Flathead Engine runs great! With a turn of the key and a push of the starter button, it is immediately running. This truck Starts, Stops, Runs and Shifts through the Gears. It sounds good, but is running through the exhaust that was on the truck when I got it. A new exhaust system would be nice, but isn't necessary. The present runs all the way out to the rear bumper. It sounds good. The Cab is in good condition. It is very solid. The floor is very Solid. I attached a picture with the seat out to show how solid the floor is. The Seat appears to be original. It is not perfect, but is in good condition. It may have been recovered at some time. There is no Headliner. The Roof and Rear of Cab are solid and in good condition. The Cab Corners look solid. The Truck has Locking Gas Cap, probably from the 1970s. It works and the key is with the truck. The Doors both open and close and latch properly. The Windshield and Rear Window Glass are both new. The Vent Windows are cracked. Both Door Windows are good. The Running Boards are good but each has some dings that may be hard to see in the pictures. The Front Fenders look good. The Hood looks good. The Grill looks good. The Front Bumper is Good and solid, but shows some age and use. The Rear Fenders are solid but have small dings. The Bed of the Truck looks good. The Tail Gate has dents and dings, but looks good. There is a sheet of plywood in the bed. The rear bumper is rusty, but solid. The truck is sitting on a set of Chrome Baby Moon 15" wheels with New Tires. The Tires do not match Front and Rear, but do match side to side. This Truck drives and brakes and can be driven. I have not driven the truck very far, since the engine rebuild. It was a dependable daily driver. I just want it to get a good break in period before it is put on the open road. It sure gets a lot attention, anytime I drive it! This Truck was built right. I built it to be my daily driver and I wanted it to be dependable. I spared no expense. I have a lot of money tied up in it, but am selling it without reserve. I am posting good pictures and tried to give a good description of the truck.I will try to answer any questions through email.
