1954 Dodge M37 3/4 Ton Truck, used by the military from 1950s-1970s. The M37 has original type canvas top and seats and both are in good condition. The drivetrain is original and works as it should. It is a winch truck and is equiped with the origianl Braden PTO driven winch which works as it should. The frame and body are in outstanding condition and show only surface rust is a few areas, it is a solid truck. The truck has non original military Michelin tires that are larger and more effective than the stock tires. The tires have 90% plus tread present. The lights and gauges work and most wiring is original. (some changes done, as truck was used for fire service at some point). The brakes work but there is some bleed down if the truck is left sitting. I drove this truck 10 miles on the road today, it is tagged and titled and can be driven as is. I have used the truck as a farm truck for the most part but have driven it 80-90 miles without an problems on the highway. (top cruising speed around 55) This would be a great truck to drive and restore as needed. It does have a cracked drivers side windsheild at this time that does not effect driving.( 149.00 on Ebay for complete window/frame) The 4 wheel drive works well and is very effective as designed.
