Due to the frequency of non-paying/false bidders, I reserve the right to end this auction at any time to the highest bidder. This is another truck from my 93 year old late great uncle's estate. This one sat outside like the others, but again is suprisingly in tact, complete, and even suprised me with the lack of rust compared to the others I've auctioned. I found no title from the estate for this truck. We recently hauled it to our shop and got all the wheels to turn free. The steering works, but found the motor is stuck tight. The firewall appears to be original black paint, but not sure if that signifies what the original exterior color was. The transmission is a 3 on the tree but the shifter is not hooked up. The rear axle has been replaced with a later 10 bolt with 5 lug pattern. The driveshaft is gone. The front hubs have been changed to 5 lug as well, but all suspension and steering seems to be original. The truck rolls free for easy loading with a winch. The front and rear fenders are a little beat up and have a little rust but probably the most solid I've hauled out of there so far. The box has holes along the bottom on the drivers side, where it also appears to have had damage/dents. The cab has a little rust in a couple of the typical lower areas but I actually found very little rot on this truck, mostly surface rust on the exterior. The tailgate was already gone. The hood opens and closes/latches ok, but has a couple areas of rot on the sides. The radiator and valve cover were already gone. The doors swing open and closed easy, but only the passenger door latches. I have a cord holding the drivers door shut for transport. The interior was not too bad, floors look better than most for an iowa truck. The back window has a crack, but all other glass is in tact without cracks. The roof skin looks solid and undamaged. The frame looked good, even in the typical areas known for rot. Buyer is responsible for all shipping concerns. The truck is fine sitting at my shop for a while if needed.
